I had previously failed a test wasting my money going to Blackpool for an intensive course.I contacted Golden after being told by BSM i'd need at least another 20 hours to pass my test. Steve did an initial assessment lesson with me and quoted me half of this ( 10 hours ). I passed with him, first time after only 8 hours!
Throughout my time with Steve I learnt so much more, and only wished I had done the Intensive here in Birmingham with him in the first place!
Thanks to all at 'Golden's I now have my licence, you have all been great!

I am soooo pleased I gave Golden drivingschool a call. I was learning with Bill Plant, and two days before my test my instructor let me down. I called Steve and he arranged a 2 hour lesson the evening before my test. I learnt more in those 2 hours than I did with my previous instructor over 20 hours!!! I have just passed my driving test with Steve after not having lessons for 8 yrs. A friend who also passed with Steve recommended him to me and I'm so glad she did!! Steve really puts you at ease and explains things really simply so you understand everything!! I have had two previous driving instructors and Steve is by far the best. I would recommend William to any aspiring driver. Really professional, knowledgeable and dedicated. He put me through a really enjoyable intensive course and basically taught me to drive in a week. I just booked my test, 2 weeks passed and I rang Steve and I was starting my lessons with him, did them in intense blocks of 2-5hours at a time!

Nigel is an excellent instructor! All of the lessons were productive and informative, and his friendly and calm approach made the lessons relaxed and enjoyable. Nigel will make sure you have all the skills and knowledge needed to pass the Theory and Practical tests and if there is anything you don’t understand he will be patient and explain until you do understand. I had a crash course with Steve and done it over a week and a bit, I have been with other driving schools and i can honestly say this was by far the best, he doesn’t hold you back and lets you progress at your own speed, the lessons are well planned and he is always their to reassure you when you think you have done something wrong, i passed first time and can't thank him enough for his great teaching. I researched driving schools in Birmingham before I was 17 and on my birthday started learning with Golden driving school. My driving instructor was very patient throughout my lessons and gradually built up my confidence to a point where I was ready for any eventuality. Learning in an relaxed environment really helped me on the road, particularly for my driving test. I passed first time and wouldn't go anywhere else for driving lessons in Birmingham! I passed my driving test yesterday with Steve as my instructor. I got 3 minors and was very pleased... in just a short 3 week period Steve took me from a nervous and pants driver to confident and up on the knowledge on the use of roads!! I have had 2 instructors prior to Steve and all had failed so it can clearly be said that he is truly a brilliant instructor who is excellent at what he does!! Thanks Steve!!
